Christmas!!!!!!

Christmas is like the best holiday there is! (That is a statement not an opinion). In my family we all get together on Christmas eve and exchange presents and tell stories and go to bed. On Christmas morning at (I wish it was earlier but Mom insists) 6:00 AM on the dot I run and wake up Mom and Dad while Elizabeth and Travis block the door so I can't see downstairs where the tree is, then I call Randall and tell him to come over and almost as soon as I hangup the phone Randall walks into the kitchen and starts telling us how he's been downstairs for fifteen minutes waiting for us. After another gift-opening session Mom (I don't know what we would do without her) cooks a huge pot of collards while the rest of us watch around fifty episodes of Pawn Stars, then we all go over to my Granddad's house and meet the WHOLE family and exchange even more gifts, then we all eat Christmas dinner for breakfast and they take a of picture of all the grandchildren on the stairs. Then we all go into the garage and get a bunch of canned food (don't ask me why) and load up and go home. Then we clean up a little, eat leftovers, and watch more Pawn Stars. And that's our Christmas.

The Awesome Duke of Four Oaks that loves to play the Banjo in the Forest

The reason for the strange and overly long name is that our newest cat (Duke) has an extremely long name. When he was first born his name was Awesome (Special thanks to Evan H.) Then we changed his name to Forest, then to Banjo (Thanks to Dad), Then we settled on Duke. Duke is like a rag doll cat, you can do ANYTHING to him and he doesn't care. You can flip him over on his back, give him bone-crushing hugs, hold him and spin around in circles, throw him up and down... really, when I say anything I mean anything. He looks like a little brown tiger. He has a few nicknames, my favorite is Dukey. This year is going to be his first Christmas! I'm taking it upon myself to be excited for him cause he doesn't care about some stupid human holiday that involves bringing a tree from outside in the house. He is overall the most amazing one of our TEN cats, and he has some darn stiff competition when it comes to being the favorite.

Mr. Jake McCoy

Jake is a awesomely weird person of seventeen years.
He likes chocolate, guitars, chocolate guitars and lobster.
He hates brussel sprouts, mayonnaise and onions.
He has three younger siblings two of which are boys, Connor is four, Katy is ten and Caleb is thirteen.
HE IS JAKE. WHICH IS AWESOME.

Poem by: Me

I am the Ocean, I am the Sky, I am me and I am I.
I look in the Light I see darkness, I look in the Dark I see light, and I almost always in the presence of a fight.
Do you like Skittles, I do, I like Starbursts and Hershey's but most of all i like you.
To: Elizabeth, Travis, Dada and Momma.

Soybeans

I moved to the city and I love it here but... I miss being able to walk out onto the front porch with a plate of strawberries and looking at the soybeans glinting with dew, it was one of those blissful moments that you will never forget. You see, when I walk onto the front porch these days all I see is a orchard of pecan trees and its very very pretty but its just not he same as the soybeans. Please comment, Gwynyfar.
